Simplicity is the key and consistency is the motto as Yves Saint Launrent once again amazes us with L’Homme Eau De Toilette- a woody perfume for the men dominated by a ravishing wave of floriental nuances. Creators Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Pierre Wargyne launched this fragrance in 2006 as a hearty summertime fragrance worn during the day for maximum effect.
While the top note is robust in spicy ginger, lemon and bergamot, the heart note is filled in intoxicating spicy nuances. Chirpy, colorful and filled in enigma the top introductory note actually sets the character for the perfume which is then backed by the heart layer where the fragrance intensifies with basil and violet leaf accords stretching out the spicy notes. White pepper in the middle too plays a dominant part in spicing up this middle layer.
Tahitian vetiver and soft tonka bean essence forms the base note for this perfume with wooden accords from soothing cedar clearly adding a relaxing tone to the end.
