While the bottle was simply veiled in simplicity carrying nothing but the symbolic logo for Versace- the perfume in itself is completely on the different end of the spectrum using a Fougere aromatic essence that dictates the masculine aura by heightening the perky summer scents using robust and energetic ingredients. Pour Homme EDT, Launched in 2008 speaks of a vibrant man who is bubbling with confidence and enigma as he lights up the room with his graceful and polite attitude backed by a sparkle in his eyes and a charm that you just can’t resist.
The top note is kept light, preppy and playful introducing the serious notes only in the heart layer. Bergamot, neroli and lemon blends in with sensual rose essences to create a sophisticated yet carefree top note. The heart of the perfume then goes on to introduce a mix of floriental and wooden notes as geranium, clary sage and hyacinth couple together with cedar notes.
Creator Alberto Morillas uses the base note to express a tone of relaxation as soothing musk essence mixes in tonka beans and amber to create a superb ending note.
