The third successor to the line of Bvlgari’s tea fragrances- Eau Perfumme The Rouge EDC for women was launched in 2006 as one of the bestsellers for natural perfume where Olivier Polge- the star perfumer uses two main variety of red tea extracts to implement aroma and vigor into the perfume. These ‘tea fragrances’ from the house of Bvlgari all carry rich intense and strong nuances apart from The Rouge that is more subtle and supple in nature and composition.
The top notes reveal a zesty citrusy essence using bergamot and orange as the primary perfumery ingredient followed by a robust addition of plump pink pepper extracts. For the heart note- the sweetness of fig essence now incorporates the tea accords- mainly, Yunnan red tea of the Chinese variety and the Roiboos red tea mixing in South African tea nuances. The base note features a beautiful composition of resin, walnut and musk to finish the perfume with a serene yet attractive tone.
